Researches invited to International Congress of Mathematicians

This congress is a major event for the global mathematics community. Organised every four year by the International Mathematic Union, it gathers the elite of the academic discipline. The best mathematicians from all around the world come together for conferences given by a restricted comittee who got the privilege to be invited to present their work.

In each congress, the excellence of French research in mathematics is represented. And plenty of researchers from MILYON laboratories are regularly invited to this event.

Scientific and International High Mass since 1897, IMC is also a solemn event when prestigious distinctions are awarded ( Nevanlinna price, Carl-Friedrich-Gauss price and since 2010 Chern medal) and among them the highest, the infamous Fields Medal.
