This thematic period aims to provide an overview of the current state of research in calculus of variations, optimal transport theory, and geometric theory of measurement, through two summer schools and an international conference.

 

A state of the art based both on the theoretical point of view (modeling, numerical analysis) and on that of applications. Applications of the daily life of men and society or in interaction with other scientific fields (image processing, computer vision, physics, materials science, computer graphics, biology, or data science).
