The Executive Board meets at least four times per year, and it:

   implements forward-looking strategies,

approves the yearly budget allocated to the various activities

evaluates and selects the scientific projects and candidates that have already been shortlisted in the relevant committees,

reports to the National Research Agency (ANR) on MILYON’s activities.

All the stakeholders of the LabEx (affiliates, universities, schools, research units) are represented in the Executive Board or in the committees.

The Executive Board consists of 11 members and includes the LabEx director. Members are drawn from the five participating units of MILYON based on the principles of fairness and representativeness.

The Directors or Scientific Correspondants of the research units are directly involved in MILYON’s governance. They select the members of the Executive Board and the three Committees after internal consultation within their unit.
