Postdoctoral positions 2025-2027

The excellence laboratory MILyon offers two postdoctoral positions in mathematics, fundamental copmuter science and their interactions, for the period September 2025 - August 2027. Deadline for application: January 10th, 2025.

The Excellency Laboratory MILYON offers postdoctoral positions in mathematics, fundamental computer science, and mathematical physics.
The candidates will do their research in one of the following research units:
- Unit of Pure and Applied Mathematics (UMPA)
- Camille Jordan Institute (ICJ)
- Laboratory of Computing Parallelism (LIP)
- Physics laboratory ENS de Lyon, on the research topics: Mathematical Physics -- Hydrodynamic turbulence and Statistical Physics -- Signal processing
- Laboratory Hubert Curien (LabHC) - team Data Intelligence
DESCRIPTION
- Research positions with no teaching duty.
- Two year contract.
- Net salary: 2,183 €/month. Basic social security included.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
- The call is open to all candidates on the research topics of the Labex MILYON (see here for details)
- The application has to be supported by a member of the Labex MILYON
- Candidates must have obtained a doctorate in Mathematics, fundamental Computer Science or theoretical physics, before October, 2025.
APPLICATION

- a curriculum vitae
- a list of publications
- a research project
- recommendation letters from researchers outside Lyon & Saint Étienne (max 2)
- a recommendation letter from the future scientific advisor in Lyon or Saint Étienne (each application must be supported by a permanent member of the labex MILyon).
